Role Purpose
The Manager – Marketing & Corporate Communications will develop, plan, budget and implement marketing strategies for Jubilee Insurance entities across Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Mauritius and Burundi.
The role also involves directing and measuring the impact of marketing and public relations strategies implemented internally and externally.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Developing and executing multi-platform communications strategies.
- Working with sales and product teams on go-to-market strategies.
- Conducting customer research and competitive analysis.
- Planning and leading marketing events and campaigns.
- Developing and managing annual marketing budgets.
- Using digital marketing analytics to improve marketing strategies.
- Driving social media activities across platforms including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and X.
- Managing relationships with advertising and branding vendors.
- Coordinating with media houses on advertising and media buying.
- Building partnerships with social media influencers.
- Managing corporate social investment initiatives and partnerships.
- Ensuring marketing activities comply with applicable laws and company policies.
- Building team capabilities and supporting succession planning.
Qualifications
Applicants should have:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications or a related field.
- Computer literacy, including familiarity with relevant applications.
- At least 5 years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities of the position.
- Strong leadership and team-management abilities.
- Strategic thinking and analytical skills.
- Creativity and an innovative approach to marketing.
- A results-oriented mindset.
